A fun and creative class for 3 yr olds that introduces the basic elements of Dance. Students learn classroom etiquette, such as, following directions, waiting for their turn, and interaction with classmates. Creative movement, colorful props, and rhythm exercises are used to advance the students both physically and mentally.
This program is designed for 4 and 5 yr olds. Students are exposed to the format of a formal Ballet Class. Classical ballet exercises are given in a way that is fun and relatable to this age group. Our goal is to increase the students strength, flexibility, and basic locomotor skills.
Ballet 1A, 1B & 2
Students begin their formal Classical training with emphasis placed on discipline, musicality, and technique. Each level has a structured syllabus covering all aspects of a students Classical training.
Throughout the next levels, the student continues to follow a structured syllabus designed to increase technical knowledge and stamina. As the dancer gains proficiency, a greater emphasis is placed on artistry and performance. Pointe work is introduced and advanced in each progressive level.
Tap/Jazz combo emphasizes technique through warm-up, stretching, across the floor combinations, and turns. This class uses intricate rhythms and fun footwork to create challenging, musical, and entertaining choreography
Lyrical is a dance style that combines elements of ballet, modern, and jazz techniques. The name lyrical comes from the word "lyrics" because the dancers use the lyrics of a song to inspire their movements and expressions
In this high-energy, age-appropriate class, students will learn fun hip-hop techniques and combinations, danced to their favorite music. This class combines street dance with funk and jazz.
