Academy of Dance Arts and Mt. Pleasant
School of Performing Arts are pleased and excited to announce that they have joined forces. Owners Ann Osborne Bebergal of Academy of Dance Arts and Larisa Dahabi of Mt.
Pleasant School of Performing Arts have decided to merge studios and feel confident that with their individual strengths,
together they can become a great hub in the low country for young dancers, especially in the world of classical dance.
The school will continue to run under the name of Academy of Dance Arts under the direction of
Ann Osborne Bebergal. Dahabi brings to the table her non profit Mt. Pleasant
Performing Arts Company which she will continue to direct so that students from both schools have greater opportunities to
perform in ballets such as Nutcracker, Coppelia, Etudes, LaBoutique Fantasque and the newly staged performance of "The Tale
of Snow White". The latter have been performed by Mt. Pleasant Performing Arts
Company over the past several years under the direction and choreography of Larisa Dahabi.
Bebergal and Dahabi together have much to offer the Low Country for
toddlers to adults. They each have a vast array of performing experience and
knowledge with very strong ballet histories. Their students will benefit from
their wide experience in the ballet world. Together, they will hone
in on all the talent from both studios forming young, strong dancers while giving them the opportunity to not only fine tune
their technique but also by adding the art of performing in real classical ballets.
This merge will form a strong foundation for dancers offering Classical Ballet, Lyrical, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop and Musical
Theatre creating opportunities to become well rounded dancers. The second
floor studio is equipped with two dance rooms which will accommodate a variety of classes for students.
ADA will continue to reside at 1510 No. Highway 17, Mt. Pleasant, SC, next to Ye Ole Fashioned Ice Cream, behind Wilsons Carpets. Being centrally located, they feel they will draw students from all over Mt. Pleasant and surrounding
areas because the studio is right off Rt. 526.
Bebergal and Dahabi are confident that combining their efforts will be a good thing and both are rather excited at
the growth potential. They know they can do great things together.
